Due to their various interdepending factors the damages to objects are always a bit different.  

Therefore every historic textile will be treated individually. It will be brought either closer to its original condition or the present state will be conserved from further deterioration by using conservation methods. An effective conservation supports the object optimally, brings it off again as a union and rather steps back a bit. It is even required that the methods are to be recognized as none-original, so to differentiate between the artist and the conservator.
